I'm back.

I decided to start up another blog, but this time being a bit more anonymous. Being an educator I decided that I needed to be a little less open about my life outside of school. If you haven't worked for a school you may not quite understand, but parents create all kinds of opinions. While most people that like to train a lot will think I that I am spending a worthy amount of time training, but there are parents out there that think that we, as educator's, should be working on our school work ALL the time. That we (I) should not be "wasting" our time training for something as stupid as running a long ways or biking on gravel roads for distances people complain about having to drive on the interstate. So, this is a new beginning. Now, I am even be more of who I am. Not that you care, but keeping a journal of sorts and having the support of the readers keeps me accountable. And.... I like that.

So.... Happy Training.

Paul

tell those parents to stick it! can't they see that the dedication and focus you have when it comes to training is representative of your character as a whole?? ...and that rather than detracting from your career, these ethics might support it?? ...and that they should feel lucky to have folks like you helping their kids become dedicated, focused adults as well?? ridiculous.

Emily, as always, I love your prospective. You would be surprised that some people don't think the way we do.

It was great riding with you this weekend.

And you shouldn't need to Paul, but I would appreciate it. You see, I have personally seen people that love digging up dirt on people online. I know of two teachers that have been fired because of something they have posted on the internet. In my mind they were minor infractions. A teacher who was 24-25 had old pictures of them (they were 21-22 in the pictures) drinking beer during Spring Break. Parents went to the school board and complained about this being a bad lesson for the kids and the teacher was fired. This happened very close to Ames, but not Gilbert.

Parents need to lighten up sometimes.

On paddy using the "f-bomb": Did he ever stop? Ha ha!
